Cybersecurity awareness game

Traditional cybersecurity training? Often too technical, too boring, and too forgettable. Phantom’sLab delivers something different: a high-impact, hands-on learning experience tailored specifically for fire service teams.

One of the most dangerous threats? “Chief fraud.” Using deepfake technology and AI-generated voice phishing (vishing), attackers pose as command officers—convincing teams to bypass protocols, share information, or take incorrect action during critical moments.

What participants will face

Social engineering and OSINT research.

Phishing email analysis and detection.

Password puzzles & MFA bypass scenarios.

CEO fraud via audio deepfake.

Tailgating and physical access.

Decision-making under time pressure.

In Phantom’sLab, you take on the role of the attacker. Your mission? Hack your own fire station—for ransom. You’ll manipulate colleagues, exploit routines, and uncover the digital cracks in your department—without real-world consequences. Want to make your organisation truly resilient and turn cybersecurity awareness into training your team actually enjoys?

The game

The game features 8 modular levels and a final awareness exam, all fully customized to the fire service environment. Here are four scenario-based levels adapted to your world:

  • #1 – Reconnaissance & Research: You start by investigating your own team. What’s online? From station photos to LinkedIn profiles and local press—what can an attacker discover in just a few clicks?
  • #3 – Phishing: An email from what looks like “command@yourstation.com” requests urgent action. It uses familiar language, titles, and logos. Can your team spot the fake?
  • #6 – Command & Control: Tailgating comes to life using photos of your actual firehouse. A stranger slips in during a shift change. Who notices? What protocols kick in?
  • #7 – Actions on objectives: A deepfake voice message from the fire chief requests immediate release of incident data. Do your teammates pause and verify—or follow orders without question?
