First, let me introduce myself

Hello, I’m Phantom. A hacker who knows the game from the inside. But don’t worry. These days I’m an ethical hacker and your ally. I know how systems get exploited, where people make mistakes and how quickly things go wrong.

And now? As a cybersecurity coach and expert, I show you how to recognize threats and protect yourself.

“To know your enemy, you must become your enemy.”

Sounds mysterious? Not at all. Phantom translates cybersecurity into your everyday life through metaphors and recognizable situations. He adapts to you as a person. He does not lecture, he challenges. That is how having to learn turns into wanting to learn.

Although Phantom is fictional, he is more alive than ever on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. Behind the mask is an inspirer and authority who uses humor, a fresh perspective and a sharp edge to make you think. His mission is simple: to make cybersecurity human, understandable, accessible and affordable for everyone.

Phantom - Cybersecurity Awareness | Phantom'sLab

“Think of me as a mix between Leonard Hofstadter and Deadpool. A scientist with the humor of a stand-up comedian.”

The Lab

Playful on the outside, certified at the core. The place where Phantom was created by a team of storytellers, game designers, filmmakers, behavior change experts and creative minds.

Inside the CyberLab, we ask ourselves the same question every day: how do we make cybersecurity irresistibly fun?

Compliance vs. behavior change

The answer is simple: the power of storytelling. We move beyond compliance and focus entirely on behavior change. Every idea is dissected like an escape room that needs to be solved. What works and what does not? How do we make sure knowledge is not only understood, but actually applied at the moment it truly matters?

This entertainment-based approach earned us a Gold Medal at the 2025 Serious Play Awards and second place at the Dutch Game Awards. Not because it looks impressive. But because it works.

“Cybersecurity is still treated as an IT issue in most organizations. A checklist. A module. A yearly obligation. But hackers do not break systems first. They influence people.”

The new generation

We represent a new generation of cybersecurity learning. With Phantom as your guide, cybersecurity becomes human through interaction, recognition and experience.

Awareness alone is not enough. That is why we design experiences that connect with people and trigger action when it truly matters. You see him. You feel his presence. He makes you laugh, sweat and sends chills down your spine when you least expect it.

Welcome to the lab

Expect the unexpected. Innovative solutions, add-ons and drop-outs designed to turn everyone into a cybersecurity fan. The result? Experiences employees will still be talking about months later. Videos colleagues share with each other. Content people genuinely enjoy.

We are Phantom. We are the new generation of cybersecurity awareness.

Cybersecurity awareness package | Phantom'sLab

“We will not stop until cybersecurity is no longer an IT problem, but a skill every employee owns. Until everyone joins the mission and becomes a Fan-Tom.”

Let’s reinvent cybersecurity awareness together

We are professionals. We are serious about results. And yes, we make it fun. With our background in behavioral science, we are reinventing how organizations approach cybersecurity awareness. Are you ready to join the Lab?

Discover our cyberlab

Phantom’sLab is the playground where we test one question daily: how do we make cybersecurity irresistible? Our team is not made up of traditional training creators. We are storytellers, game designers, filmmakers, behavioral experts and creative thinkers who dissect cybersecurity like it is an escape room waiting to be solved.

We test. We iterate. We reinvent. We create experiences employees talk about for months.

Authority with a playful edge

Real change does not start with policy. It starts with cinematic storytelling that feels real and recognizable. That is where behavior begins to shift.

This entertainment-based approach earned us a Gold Medal at the 2025 Serious Play Awards and second place at the Dutch Game Awards. Not because it looks impressive. But because it works.

First, Let’s meet Phantom

The face of our cyberlab. The guide behind our e-ntertainment learning. The voice inside our games. He is your coach who stays with you long after the credits roll.

“If I can hack it, I can teach you how to prevent it.”

No anonymous trainers. No generic compliance narrator reading slides. Instead, you meet Phantom. A mysterious former underground hacker who knows the game from the inside out.

He does not lecture. He challenges. He does not test memory. He sharpens instinct. Phantom turns cybersecurity from something abstract into something personal. From something technical into something you can master. He may be fictional. But he is very much alive. He is the new generation of cybersecurity awareness.

The new generation of cybersecurity awareness

We are professionals. We are serious about results. And yes, we make it fun. With our background in serious gaming and behavioral science, we are reinventing how organizations approach cybersecurity awareness. We are the new generation of cybersecurity awareness. Are you ready to join the game?

E-learning
E-ntertainment learning

Cybersecurity is still treated as an IT issue in most organizations. A checklist. A module. A yearly obligation. But hackers do not break systems first. They influence people.

Fast, Fresh, And Fun.

Traditional awareness programs focus on compliance, not behavior. That is why we created a new approach together with leading experts in cybersecurity and behavioral science. E-ntertainment learning. Fast. Fresh. Fun. And designed to create lasting change.

Because when learning feels like entertainment, behavior change follows.

The power of e-ntertainment:

For business

Chosen by industry leaders worldwide.

For government

Adopted by national and local government institutions.

For education

Rolled out in 100+ schools, played by 10,000 students.

Real change does not start with compliance. It starts with cinematic storytelling that feels real and recognizable. Let’s make cybersecurity learning irresistible.

Stories of impact

Compliance Vs. behavior

We don’t produce boring compliance training. We create experiences employees talk about for months. Videos colleagues forward to each other. Games that spark competition. Content that makes people laugh and think at the same time.

STORYTELLING CREATES AWARENESS

Learning only works when it shows up under pressure. Storytelling creates awareness. Awareness triggers action. Action becomes behavior.

This entertainment-based approach earned us a Gold Medal at the 2025 Serious Play Awards. And we are only getting started. This is just the beginning of a new generation.

One story. Four powerful solutions

Everything we create starts with storytelling. Cinematic and built around real-world cyber threats. All solutions are delivered in microlearning episodes and can be deployed anytime, anywhere, as a one-time experience or as a continuous program.

  • E-learning: Cinematic, story-driven learning built like a series.
  • Serious game: An immersive experience powered by Phantom’s Game.
  • Phishing game: Fast-paced challenges that sharpen instinct under pressure.
  • Quiz: Interactive activations that trigger immediate awareness.

Frequently asked questions

2026 marks the point where AI-generated attacks become the norm, not the exception. Deepfakes, voice cloning, and hyper-personalized social engineering mean traditional awareness training is obsolete. Your employees need to experience these threats in a safe environment to recognize them in real life. That’s why gamification and storytelling aren’t nice-to-haves anymore. They’re essential.

Phantom’sLab customizes its cybersecurity solutions to provide a tailored learning experience for every audience within your organization. Whether it’s for employees, executives, or technical teams, our platform adapts to different needs by incorporating familiar elements like video footage, leadership messages, and real emails.

We create content that speaks directly to each audience, ensuring the training feels relevant and impactful. From businesses to education and government, Phantom’sLab adjusts to the unique needs of every group, making the experience resonate with all participants.

Our solutions are designed to address real organizational challenges across different moments. For example, Phantom’s E-learning drives deep behavior change through immersive, interactive training that builds lasting habits. Phantom’s Game works as a powerful awareness booster, creating energy and engagement from the very first interaction.

Other entertainment solutions, such as the phishing game and quizzes, reinforce learning in dynamic formats and are ideal for team-building sessions, event energizers, or Cybersecurity Month kick-offs.

By combining these solutions, organizations create a layered cybersecurity program that strengthens awareness, drives behavior change, and supports long-term culture transformation.

Cyber threats evolve constantly, and so do we. As a cyberLab, we continuously develop and refine our solutions to reflect the most relevant threats and emerging trends. From new phishing techniques to advanced social engineering tactics, we ensure our experiences stay aligned with today’s digital reality.

By integrating these evolving risks into immersive scenarios, we help organizations not only recognize threats, but build the instinct and resilience needed to respond effectively.

We’re not from the cybersecurity industry. We come from entertainment. Our roots are in escape rooms, VR experiences, and serious gaming. We’ve created over 100 games for more than 1 million players. We know how to captivate people. Traditional e-learning asks, “How do we make this compliant?” We ask, “How do we make this unforgettable?” That’s the difference. Curious? Just request a demo. You will feel the difference instantly.

The new generation of cybersecurity awareness

Ready to experience cybersecurity that is fun and truly works? Join over 500 organizations worldwide already driving real behavior change through cinematic storytelling and e-ntertainment learning. Be next. Make your colleagues smile. Make yourself the hero.😉

STRONG SECURITy STARTS WITH ENGAGED EMPLOYEES

Most training focuses only on awareness. We move beyond compliance, shifting from check-the-box training to genuine behavior change. Through storytelling, microlearning, and a touch of gamification, learning becomes engaging and enjoyable.

When cyber awareness becomes part of your culture and everyone is in the game, hackers don’t stand a chance. We are ready. It is time for a new generation, with new solutions.

Cybersecurity awareness - behavior change - culture | Phantom'sLab

THE POWER OF ENTERTAINMENT:

75% engagement increase

Serious gaming causes insane engagement rates, making employees connect to the topic. Better yet, they won’t stop talking about it.

70% risk reduction

Cybersecurity awareness training leads to a high reduction in security-related risks. Yes, really.

60% less phishing attack clicks

Improves security behaviors by reducing the percentage of clicks by employees on phishing attacks. True story.

Want to make your organization more resilient against cybercrime and grow cybersecurity awareness in a fun and effective way?

Cybersecurity solutions - awareness | Phantom'sLab

What makes our solutions work?

In a world of Netflix binges and gaming marathons, most e-learnings still feel stuck in the era of Pac-Man and PowerPoint. We are bringing high-end serious gaming to cybersecurity, with the same quality as your favourite Netflix series or an EA Sports game. We use those same mechanics — storytelling, immersion and gameplay — to change the e-learning game.

For us, it’s all about the experience. It starts with popcorn on your desk, a game ticket in the bucket, and a personal invite to hack your own company. Curious already? Good. That’s entertainment learning.

Every cyberattack begins with a story

A convincing email. An urgent message. A colleague asking for help. It feels familiar. That is exactly why it works. Most cyberattacks do not start with technology. They start with people.

Traditional awareness training relies on compliance modules and mandatory courses. Employees complete them, close the tab and quickly forget what they learned. But real cyberattacks do not happen inside training modules. They happen in everyday moments.

Where stories become learning

At Phantom’sLab we turn cybersecurity threats into stories employees recognize through storytelling, entertainment and interactive experiences. We call this E-ntertainment Learning.

Employees do not just learn about cyberattacks. They experience the manipulation, recognize the pressure and see how easily mistakes happen. Because when people recognize the story, they recognize the threat.

Make your organization resilient against cybersecurity threats through entertainment learning. The most effective training solutions in cybersecurity awareness that don’t just tick the boxes, they change your organizations’ culture. Discover our unique three-step approach that combines awareness, behavioral change and testing. Join the 500+ organizations worldwide in business, government and education sectors that have already implemented our entertainment learning successes.

Organizations worldwide are fighting cybercrime. But if your “solution” is the same old video-question-answer-repeat cycle that has employees frantically clicking through just to get it over with, your people aren’t learning. You’ve only got a false sense of security with sky-high completion rates. We can do you one better: a cybersecurity training that your employees actually want to do, they’ll even come back for more. (That’s not a joke. Check out the Toyota client case. Fans.)

Making this the most effective training solution for cybersecurity awareness. Because you’re not just ticking a box, you’re building an airtight cybersecurity culture with employees who care.

For mind-blowing results, we recommend our complete three-step setup. All steps can also be implemented separately, depending on what your organization needs. Either way, you’re giving them training that’ll have employees asking “When’s the next episode?”

Try it. We dare you.

Where’s part two?

Have you ever heard someone say that about a cybersecurity training? Because we have. And that’s the difference.

We deliver experiences that blow your mind, build interactive and engaging stories and create real understanding about cybersecurity threats through curiosity. Book a demo, and if you find yourself wondering when you can play the next episode, you’ll know we’re right. Experience, engagement, fun: that’s what changes cybersecurity training from a compliance checkbox into something people give a sh*t about.

Why our cybercrime training works

We made it fun. An experience. Immersive. No boring e-learnings, but an entertainment learning approach that leaves traditional e-learning in the dust. A cybersecurity training that your employees actually want to do.

By combining serious gaming, storytelling and intrinsic motivation, we’ve created solutions that’s proven 70% more effective than traditional e-learning. Research shows that gamified cybersecurity programs boost employee engagement by 60% and productivity by 43%, while adding narrative depth turns information into lasting knowledge. Bad ass, if we may be so bold.

Customization is one of our biggest strengths. We tailor the game to your organization with company details, logos, and even your own employees. The highlight? A realistic CEO fraud scenario featuring a deepfake version of your CEO — or, in sector-specific versions, a mayor or another key figure.

See it in action

We’re here to end boring cybersecurity training once and for all

Where standard e-learning training puts your employees to sleep, we build entertainment experiences that employees actually want to play. We believe learning should trigger that “what the f*ck” moment. The kind that makes people genuinely sit at the edge of their seats and start to care.

Our mission is simple: turn cybersecurity awareness from a compliance burden into an engaging experience that drives real behavioral change. Because when people have fun while learning, they remember. And when they remember, they act. And when they act, companies stay safe.

No more checkbox mentality. Just cybersecurity training that actually works.

Your employees deserve cybersecurity training that keeps them on the edge of their seats.

See for yourself why CISO’s and management team chose entertainment learning over traditional e-learning.

How it all started

We started with Uitjesbazen, an energetic event bureau organizing events for organizations and teams. With over 25 full-time specialists, a repertoire of 25+ activities, and more than 10,000 organized events, we became literally the boss in corporate events. As we grew in recognition, we started getting commissions for events and games with social themes: concepts designed to spread a message. That’s how Gamificationers was born.

With 12+ years of experience in building interactive experiences, we got to work creating a serious game on a topic we were passionate about: cybercrime.

(And like with everything we do, we weren’t going to do it half-assed. It’s all in or no deal.)

That’s how we became the first organization to approach cybersecurity learning with entertainment.

We’re a passionate and ambitious team, creating entertainment we’d actually want to experience ourselves. We deliver mind-blowing experiences and interactive stories that spark real understanding through curiosity.

When employees see the effort, time, energy, and pure enjoyment we’ve poured into their training, something magical happens: they get hooked. They come back asking, “When’s the next module? Where’s part two?” Have you ever heard someone say that about cybersecurity training? Because we have. And that’s what makes us unique.

Years later, we redefine how people learn about cybersecurity. And there’s much more to come.

Join the 1 million player movement and build a business that’s protected against the threats of cybercrime.

STRONG SECURITy STARTS WITH ENGAGED EMPLOYEES

We move from compliance — check-the-box training — to real behavioral change. Through storytelling, micro-learning, and a hint of gamification, learning becomes entertainment.

When cyber awareness turns into culture, and everyone’s in the game, hackers don’t stand a chance. And we are ready. Time for a new generation. With new solutions.

What makes it work?

In a world of Netflix binges and gaming marathons, e-learnings still feel stuck in the era of Pac-Man and PowerPoint. We use those same mechanics to change the (e-learning) game.

For us, it’s all about the experience — starting with popcorn on your desk, game tickets in the bucket, and a personal invite to hack your own company. Curious already? Now we’ve got you. That’s e-ntertainment learning.

Make your organization resilient against cybersecurity threats.
Our award-winning approach goes beyond compliance — it transforms your culture from the inside out. Experience the difference — try it. We dare you.

In August 2025, we won gold at the ‘Oscars of the gamification industry’ with our awareness game, Cyber Crime Game. But that was just the beginning.
We’ve since evolved into a cyber lab, constantly inventing new ways to get every employee ‘in the game’. Enjoy.

Most training focuses on awareness only. We move from compliance — check-the-box training — to real behaviour change. Through storytelling, micro-learning, and a hint of gamification, learning becomes entertainment.

When training is genuinely engaging and immersive, and as addictive as your favorite Netflix series, cybersecurity awareness becomes an integral part of your organisational culture. And hackers no longer stand a chance.

Cybersecurity awareness game

Cybersecurity awareness is more than information. It’s transformation — and games make it stick.

Most cybersecurity training is passive. You watch a video, answer a few questions, and hope the message sticks. But when threats are emotional and manipulative, training has to feel just as real.

Cyber Crime Game is a cybersecurity awareness game that flips the script: your employees become the attacker. In this immersive, gamified simulation, they explore how phishing, social engineering, and deepfakes actually work — by using them.

They exploit trust. Tailgate into buildings. Clone a CEO’s voice. And most powerfully of all — they manipulate their own colleagues. In doing so, they learn how human behavior creates risk — and how to protect it.

Why game-based awareness works

Because theory doesn’t change behavior — experience does. Traditional training explains. This game immerses. Employees don’t remember policies—they remember what they felt. That’s why gamification works: it creates emotional anchors that change behavior long after the training ends.

By gamifying real-world threats, Cyber Crime Game:

What your team will experience

Cyber Crime Game is made up of 8 modular levels, followed by an awareness exam. Each level mirrors a real-world attack scenario—from OSINT research to CEO fraud—and can be tailored to your brand, sector, or risk profile.

Each level is a narrative-driven challenge, rooted in the tactics real hackers use. Participants aren’t just clicking—they’re making decisions under pressure, seeing the consequences unfold.

All content is NIS2-aligned, designed for non-technical users, and available in any language.

Built for everyone, not just IT

Cybersecurity is no longer an IT-only issue. Whether you’re in HR, finance, marketing or field operations—you’re a potential target, and a key line of defense. Cyber Crime Game is ideal for:

If you click, type, or talk—you need this game. Awareness becomes part of your culture—not just compliance. Cyber Crime Game supports learning that spreads across silos and sticks in daily routines.

About the author – Joris van den Bergh

Joris van den Bergh is the game architect and co-founder behind Cyber Crime Game, with over a decade of experience in designing serious games that drive real-world behavior change.

As a storyteller and gamification strategist, Joris transforms complex cybersecurity themes into emotional, engaging narratives. His mission is clear: to replace dry, forgettable training with cinematic, immersive experiences that people actually remember—and talk about.

“You can’t scare people into caring. But you can immerse them in a story that makes them care—then act.”

Ready to game your way to real awareness?

Cyber Crime Game turns awareness into action. Give your team the skills, mindset, and reflexes to stay one step ahead of modern threats. Request your free demo and experience the game yourself. Awareness in just 2 hours. Lasting impact. Zero lectures.

Cybersecurity awareness training

Security doesn’t start with tools. It starts with people. Most cybersecurity awareness training explains the risks. But employees forget them after lunch. Why? Because they’ve seen the same checklists, the same slides, the same reminders. Cyber Crime Game changes the format, the tone, and the result — offering cybersecurity awareness training powered by serious gaming and gamification. People experience risk from the inside out, and remember what matters.

behavior

The best way to prepare for phishing, fraud, or insider threats is to understand how they actually happen. Cyber Crime Game lets employees play the role of the attacker. They discover just how easy it is to exploit trust and make mistakes that lead to real damage.

This training is:

No technical knowledge needed. No IT burden. Just impactful learning that sticks.

What participants experience

Inside Cyber Crime Game, users step into the shoes of a cybercriminal. They target their own organization, exploring how their actions — or inactions — can open doors to real threats.

The game brings key risks to life:

Every topic reflects real attack techniques. Every choice reveals behavioral patterns. Every session sparks conversation.

Who this training is for

Ideal for:

If you want awareness that changes behavior, you need training that hits home.

About the author – Joris van den Bergh

About us

Meet the team behind Phantom’sLab,

Your employees are your biggest cybersecurity risk.

Make them your greatest defense instead with cybersecurity awareness training they’ll actually enjoy. How? Grab your popcorn. We don’t create cybersecurity training. We create cybersecurity fans. This is e-ntertainment learning.

Why does gamification work better for students than traditional training?

Because people learn best by doing, not by listening. Gamification taps into our natural way of learning — through curiosity, action, reward, and direct feedback. It transforms dry instruction into an engaging experience where students are actively involved. The result: higher retention, more engagement, and deeper understanding.

Plus, the emotional impact of a good game — like falling for a phishing attempt or realizing how predictable fellow students are online — sticks far longer than any PowerPoint or e-learning module ever could. That’s why gamification drives not just awareness, but real behavior change.

Ready for cybersecurity training that actually works?

Organisations around the world are fighting cybercrime. But if your current solution is just a cycle of video, question, answer, and repeat, where employees click through just to finish, then real learning isn’t happening. This creates a false sense of security, driven by high completion rates that fail to reflect true understanding.

We offer something better: cybersecurity training your employees actually want to take, and look forward to doing again. Join more than 500 organizations across business, government, and education that have already turned engagement into measurable results.
