Case summary

The challenge

Embedding cybersecurity awareness without making it feel like an obligation. We wanted to strengthen our security culture in a way that matched our team: interactive, practical, and most importantly fun. A company event seemed the perfect opportunity to bring people together while learning something valuable about digital security. It had to be an experience that people would genuinely enjoy, not a lecture they would endure and forget.

The experience

The game was met with great enthusiasm and engagement from the moment it started. What immediately stood out was how everyone, from developers to sales, operations to management, became fully immersed in the experience. The interactive and hands on format ensured no one was left on the sidelines, regardless of their technical background or role within the company.

The competitive element added an extra dimension that elevated the entire event. Colleagues from different departments who rarely collaborate in daily work suddenly found themselves working closely together, brainstorming through scenarios, and challenging one another’s assumptions. This built stronger cross departmental connections and created a sense of healthy competition that kept the energy consistently high throughout the session. Teams debated strategies and shared insights about potential vulnerabilities. The game didn’t create fear but instead provided realistic insights directly relevant to daily work, making abstract risks suddenly concrete and personally meaningful for every participant.

The outcome

The impact extended far beyond the event itself. Employees are now much more aware of how easily personal information can be misused and how quickly a simple mistake can lead to serious consequences. Daily behavior has shifted noticeably: people are more alert to suspicious emails, more cautious when sharing information, and more conscious of digital risks. Cybersecurity is no longer seen as an abstract IT topic but as a shared responsibility across the entire team, with colleagues now addressing each other about safe practices openly.
