Building cybersecurity awareness across a team with different levels of tech skills. As an organization managing ICT, data, and innovation projects, we needed to understand where our employees stood on security awareness while teaching them about cyber threats at the same time. The challenge was finding something that would work for most team members while also showing us who would benefit from extra training, helping us create a security awareness plan that actually fits our needs.
The game got mixed reactions, which turned out to be really useful for understanding our team. The competitive element made it more fun and effective for many people, while the clear explanations helped employees understand digital risks in real terms. But the experience also revealed something important: some employees found the game challenging in ways that showed they’d benefit from extra training.
This variety in responses wasn’t a problem but actually a helpful insight. The game helped us see exactly which team members had good baseline security awareness and which needed more support.
