Reaching diverse teams across an organization that spans construction sites to back offices with one consistent message: safe digital behavior is everyone’s responsibility. From project managers in the field to estimators at headquarters, employees work with various digital systems and sensitive data daily. BAM Infra wanted to move away from standard presentations and find an approach that would be interactive, energetic, and memorable across different audiences and events. The challenge was creating cybersecurity awareness that would resonate equally well with management teams, young employees, and everyone in between during occasions ranging from Safety Week to leadership meetings.
The game was deployed multiple times across different events and target groups within the BAM group, proving its versatility and consistent effectiveness. Whether played during management meetings, Safety Week, or with young employees, the response was enthusiastically positive. What stood out across all sessions was how the interactive and practical approach fully immersed participants in realistic cyber threats, regardless of their role or technical background.
Everyone played individually on their own laptop, but the live leaderboard created remarkable energy across all events. The competitive element worked exceptionally well in every setting, keeping colleagues focused, motivated, and challenged while learning critical security concepts. The clarity with which cyber threats were conveyed resonated directly with all employees. They recognized scenarios from their own work context: phishing emails resembling actual project communications, social engineering tactics aimed at gaining system access, and data breaches that could compromise sensitive bid information. This recognition made the learning not only educational but directly relevant and personally meaningful across all departments and events.
The repeated deployment across multiple events created organization wide impact that’s noticeable in daily behavior. Employees are now much more cautious with emails from unknown senders, consistently take multiple verification steps when logging into systems, and understand how easily personal and company information can be misused. More importantly, the game’s flexibility allowed us to reach different audiences with the same powerful message, strengthening our security culture throughout BAM Infra and transforming cybersecurity from an IT topic into a truly organization wide responsibility that everyone embraces.
