At Fransen Gerrits, we believe it’s important that our people know how to handle digital risks – especially because our insurer strongly emphasizes it. Joris convinced me that the Cyber Crime Game wasn’t just another standard awareness training, but something that really sticks with you. And I haven’t regretted it for a second.
“Fun and educational. A must for any organization that wants more than just a dry presentation on cybersecurity.”
We wanted to raise awareness around cyber threats in a way that would really resonate. No standard training, but something interactive that truly gets people thinking. It needed to be an experience people would talk about afterward. Because how easily can you be deceived? And how strong is your team when it really matters?
We played the game with eighteen people in the same room, and it was remarkable how focused everyone was. The atmosphere was intense, and there was a lot of teamwork and engagement. Even those who weren’t really into this kind of thing joined in – and ended up succeeding. The competitive element added just the right amount of extra drive. After all, you want to win!
What we gained most of all was increased awareness across the entire team. The game clearly demonstrated how easily things can go wrong when you’re not alert. It made us reflect on how vulnerable we actually are, and how important it is not to trust too easily.
